The circa 1980's Hanson Bay farmhouse is ideal for large family or small group get-togethers of up to 12 people. It features two queen size bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. The Hanson Bay Sanctuary Homestead has two additional bedrooms with a total of six single beds and a bathroom between them. The homestead contains a formal dining room, wood fires, a huge living room and a games room with a full size billiard table! The kitchen is fully equipped and contains an electric stove, microwave and refridgerator. All linen, crockery and cutlery are supplied. There is also undercover parking available.

For outside living there is a spacious undercover area equipped with a gas BBQ (barbecue) and outdoor furniture. The garden area features shady trees, the music of the bush and lots of fresh country air! Abundant wildlife and places to walk! Reconnect with nature and yourselves!

The Hanson Bay Sanctuary Homestead is popular for groups and families and is only a short drive to all the major tourist attractions at the Western End of the island. A short drive from the Sanctuary Homestead will take you to Kelly Hill Caves, Flinders Chase National Park and Visitor Centre, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Platypus Walks. It is an ideal location for bush walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Those booking accommodation direct with the Hanson Bay Office are entitled to Free Access to the popular Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Koala Walk and Nature Trail - as well as reduced entry fees to our Nocturnal Walks.
