kangaroo island-Hanson Bay Cabins
We are pleased to offer you a choice of two self-contained beach side cabins located 100 metres from a safe swimming beach and only a short distance from the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail. Built in 2015 each cabin has one bedroom with Queen bed (2 fold out beds are also available) and feature picture windows and spectacular ocean views of the rugged coast and Southern Ocean. Please select on the photos above to see more. The cabins are located at the end of Hanson Bay Road 3.5 km from the highway near Southern Ocean Lodge and Flinders Chase National Park. Each cabin has a slow combustion wood fire plus full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave.

Hike in hike out. It is a beautiful 14km (one way) walk from Remarkable Rocks. It is 9km (one way) to Kelly Hill Caves. Note there maybe restricted access to Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail.
Food options. Please note the nearest supermarket is in Kingscote (100km). There is a small general store at 8km away at the Caravan Park. Vivonne Bay general store (35km) is a great place for lunch
Rainwater. All our beach side cabins run on rainwater and we ask that guest keep this in mind and use water responsibly.
WiFi. High speed internet service is provided by Beam.
The two modern cabins contain one large bedroom with a queen bed,a large bathroom and a spacious open plan kitchen and living areas. They feature slate floors, gas oven/cooker, microwave and refrigerator. Fully equipped kitchen and wood burning fire. These 2 cabins have floor to ceiling glass and truly awesome and unrivalled ocean views.
A Rollaway bed,single is available for a third person on request.
